Summer BBQ Veggies

We had the most delicious BBQ the other night. It was much enjoyed by all. Here are a couple of veggie ideas that you can do on the BBQ!

Sweet Potato Slices

• Large Sweet Potato
• Tin Foil
• Salt and Pepper
• Garlic Powder
• Chili Powder
• Olive Oil

1. Wash and peel your potato, then slice into thin rounds. You can cut some of the larger rounds in half if they are too big.
2. Put the potato slices into a large bowl, and add all the seasonings. 
3. Stir it up, then add about a tablespoon of olive oil (you don't need too much), then stir some more.
4. Transfer the potato slices onto a large piece of tin foil, and wrap them up (see photo above).
5. Place on a hot BBQ off the main heat, and cook for about 20-25 minutes, until the potato slices are soft. Enjoy!

Corn on the Cob

Cooking corn on the cob is super simple! And cooking them in this way keeps them nice and juicy.

1. Take your corn on the cob and remove the inner strings from the corn, while still leaving a layer of leaves (see photo above). This way the corn ins't laying directly on the grill.
2. Place the corn with the leaves on, right on top of the main heat. 
3. Cook for about 15 minutes turning constantly. 
4. Enjoy with butter and salt or any of your other favourite corn toppings.
