​It’s a tough gig, this balancing act you perform every day to keep your physical and metal space functioning.

Especially when the morning madness is looking less like a routine and more like a tornado with a side of meltdowns. The house has kid projects covering every surface. There are heaps of never-ending laundry. Not to mention appointments, extra curriculars, and your own life activities (which you only wish you had time to do).

And you keep wondering, where is the reset button?

What you need to do is unclutter all that chaos into manageable chunks, so that you can actually enjoy the life you already have.
In other words, you need to balance your load.

About Me

I’m you! I’m a mom of two and have seen it all.

When I was living downtown in a small apartment, my life was neat, organized and clean. Every item had its place and I was on top of my appointments, activities, and work. I assumed after moving to a house and starting a family that I would be able to maintain that level of organization. And I did manage it for a while. However, I drove myself crazy trying to do it. I was aiming for perfection, instead of efficiency, and would guilt myself when I would ultimately fail.

After years of this, two kids, and a pandemic later, I soon hit rock bottom. My mental and physical health had deteriorated to point where living like this was almost unbearable. For the sake of my family, I knew I needed to turn things around.

Now, I have learned to balance my life, and without the guilt.

My family home is far from the perfect apartment I used to have, but I’m happier, healthier, and don’t feel like I am drowning all the time.
